Hey Betsi! Sorry it took me so long to get back with you. The trip was amazing! We loved the resort and loved Mexico. We are ready to go back and take more people with us! Thank you so much for your help. We will be coming back to you for our next trip. We didn't take many pictures but I'll send some of the ones we took when I get them uploaded. We went to the Mayan ruins, snorkling, Crococun Zoo, and to Playa del Carmen. Snorkling was beautiful and the zoo was fantastic. We got to hold a baby crocodile, snakes, feed deer, and walk through an area with 40-50 crocs with in 3-5 feet of us. There was no wall between us and them. Absolutely worth the visit. Hopefully we'll be going back next year. Thanks again for everything!

The honeymoon was wonderful!!! In fact, the only negative thing I have to say about it is that we had to leave!

Truly, the Royal Hideaway exceeded all of our expectations, and all the great things we had heard about it. We spent the majority of our time sitting by the pool and on the beach-- just relaxing!!.... And loved every minute of it. With the exception of one meal, the food was amazing-- Service was absolutely top notch, and everything about the resort just perfect! We would (and will) most definitely go back...

Hi,

Just wanted to let you know we had a fabulous time on our trip. The flight there and back was pleasant and uneventful. All the hotels were fine and the food/wine/sightseeing were fabulous. The most fun was the three of us being together and learning all kinds of new stuff about one another. You should have seen the looks we got in Haight Ashbury browsing the "Smoke Shop" and The Castro in the "Sex Shop". We were quite the threesome 22, 52, and 82!!! Mom kept up the whole way, even through our 2 hour Point Lobos hike and the streets of San Francisco.

Thanks so much for putting it all together. We plan on doing it again with a little more time in Carmel and wine country.

Wow! and Amazing! are the only two words to describe our tirp. Travis and I have has such an incredible vacation - thanks so much to you for helping us plan it, and finding us such special places to stay. Each hotel was lovely - buy the Tickle Pink Inn takes the cake. This was the PERFECT spot for us to end our vacation. They brought chmpagne and chocolate to our room last night, and the view is spectacular!!

Just wanted to let you know we had the best trip ever! Everything was pefect-only 1 day of rain. Curacao, Grenada, Barbados and Grand Turk were all worth going back to. We just had a good time all together.

The honeymoon was AWESOME! We absolutely loved Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana an d we'd recommend it to anyone! The flight was quick and easy; I think it only took about 3 hours 15 minutes or so. It was incredibly easy to find our ride to the hotel and the drive was only about 10 minutes. The city of Cap Cana is new and very safe. The whole city is gated off and the driver of the van ahd to leave his ID at the gate and got it back once he left the city.

The resort was absolutley breathtaking. Check in was easy. We got a golf cart ride to our room and were greeted with a honeymooners banner and champagne with fresh fruit in our room--thanks to you! Our view was amazing. The rooms were really nice and we had none of the problems we read on trip advisor!

The food was good--yes sometimes the service was slow, but who is in a hurry when they are on vacation anyway?! The staff were all amazing and so nice, and for the most part we did not have any trouble communicating with anyone!

We played golf one day. Punta Espada is AMAZING, so recommended it to anyone who plays golf. I took over 150 pictures at the course! More than half the holes are on the water and it is so beautiful. You get a caddie and it was only $95 to play after 2:30 and that included food and alcohol!! We didnt do much else; just layed on the beach and by the pool and we got a masage one day.

There are plenty of activities around the pool if people want to participate--pool and beach volleyball, bocce ball, ping pong, water aerobics, spanish lessons. The entertainment staff were all great! There were activities going on each night in one of the bars and a movie on the beach every night. So plenty to do if you want.

Honeymoon to Secrets Sanctuary Cap Cana August 2010

The only complaint we had about the trip was that we had to leave. We wanted to go to a place where we could relax and not have to worry and this was the perfect place. We did not know they offered 24 hour room service and complimentary laundry which was nice to come home and not have to worry about cleaning clothes. The food was so good that we had a bird fly by and take some one afternoon. We had read on trip adviser that the mosquitoes were bad but we never noticed them, that could be because we are from the south. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants a place where there is not much to do other than eat and lounge around...which is exactly what we were looking for. Orginally we planned on going to see the Mayan ruins and some other sites but could never bring ourselves to leave! Thank you for all your help and we recommend you to anyone that will listen. I am afraid all of our future vacations will have a high standard to meet.

Hi Betsi,

Sorry I haven't gotten back to you before now because I wanted to tell you that our trip to Couples Sans Souci was absolutely wonderful. It exceeded our expectations at every turn and, even though we normally like to go to new places rather than return to one we've already visited, we will go back to that resort. The only "negative" was one we already anticipated and that was the somewhat longer ride from the airport to the resort. The resort was wonderful, the people were awesome and the food was great. We talked quite a lot with several other couples from all parts of the world and exchanged email addresses so we're pretty excited about that. One couple, in particular, is from the UK and we're going to plan a trip there probably during June of 2011 to take Cindy's Mom and my parents, so we'll want to talk with you about that because we'll want to plan some things pretty carefully since we're talking about parents in their 80's.

Hi Betsi,

We had a great time at Secrets Cap Cana. Here are some comments that will hopefully help others traveling there.

*It was great--very relaxing--

*Not too much going on if you have someone looking for activities

but fine for us

*One of the prettiest properties that I have stayed at-the

architecture was incredible--looked like an old European

Village--could not believe that it is only 3 years old--I will send

some pictures!

*Service and accomodations were excellent--food was adequate--

but good variety of restaurants to choose from--

*Easy trip from Charlotte--nice airport on the other end--clean &

efficient

*Charles played golf and enjoyed the course---we went to the

marina near by and it was pretty---a couple of nice

restaurants--Sanctuary had a free shuttle for us to use

*They did upgrade our room--and it was nice--not Beachfront--but

pretty view

*I have a map of the property that I will get to you that shows the

different rooms and their locations--that may help in placing

people --

Thanks for your help--we had a great time and would recommend it as long as your clients want a quiet trip--not much going on at night--and not any water activities on the property---like some places--

Okay ready!!!!!!!

Hahahaha. Good to hear from you. I actually meant to email you when we got back. We had such a good time. The El Dorado Maroma was beautiful and just what we wanted - quiet and secluded and romantic! Our room was perfect - ocean view, the lazy river on the patio, and even the interior was very luxurious and beautiful. The staff was great. We did some of the hotel events (snorkeling, kayaking, cooking class) but generally just enjoyed the beach and the pools and the food. Food was great. We utilized the spa a lot and that was great, including a couples massage on this raised platform in the ocean which was great. Also while I was there it was my birthday so my boyfriend got with the concierge (who was great - I forget his name at the moment) and for my birthday night we went to dinner on the beach - with some really great food - and then when we got back to the room there was champagne and a bubble bath with flower petals and petals on the bed with a huge towel-heart and towel-swan.

Oh we can't wait to go back. And it was so hard to leave.

No complaints. The only thing that didn't go perfectly is that we had some trouble reaching room service at night. I am betting that their staff was reduced because they were only half full - about 42 rooms out of the 75.

I could go on and on. But everything was really nice and we would love to go again. Thanks for arranging our trip!

Hello Betsi,

Josh and I had a wonderful stress free wedding and a great time in Jamacia. The (Couples) Negril staff was amazing, very professional, courteous and friendly. I was also pleased with the small size of the resort since our party was in different buildings. It was never hard to find anyone, in fact usually we just ran into one another, but with everything being convenient like that organizing things was easier

Here are some pics from the wedding. We were lucky and married the only afternoon it didn't rain.
